Adult Sunday School Classes are held Sundays 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.

Here is a listing of current Sunday School Classes at Central UMC:

New Aldersgate

Young adults and young parents who meet each week to pray and learn together. Room 403 (top floor)

Faith Discernment

A wide range of ages and stages that study Scripture and make it relevant to daily life through study, discussion, and prayer.  Room 219 (Same level as the Fellowship Hall)

Discovery Class

For a wide variety of ages, discovering Jesus and sharing Him through lecture and discussion by the members. Room 220 (Same level as the Fellowship Hall)

Growing in Faith Through Service (GIFTS)

A led Bible study with questions and answers geared for adults with adult children.  The Parlor (near the Sanctuary)

Inquirers Class

A large, vibrant class for mostly retirement-age adults who want to study topical Christian issues and are looking to enrich their lives. Zoom attendance is available.  Room 206

New Morning Class

For adults (mostly 50’s and 60’s) interested in studying life issues and the Bible through shared teaching and lively discussions. Room 222 (Boy Scout Room)

Serendipity Class

Age 50’s and up, dealing with current issues relating to Christian living. Room 305

Newcomers Class

Newcomer classes are held quarterly to help people learn more about Central UMC and our Methodist tradition.  The class will meet at 10:00 am in the Welcome Center/Library.  There will be coffee and pastries and this is a great way to meet our ministers, staff and other newcomers to our church. This class is open to newcomers to Central, new members, and longtime members of Central.
