In the spring of 2022, two women in our midst separately asked if there was a way they could serve our congregation remotely. Yes! There was a need to research and develop a wellness resource list as part of our Congregational Care. What you see here is the result of their work:

“WELL-BEING”

.

Elizabeth Nealon and Susan McCracken worked together to put at your fingertips what resources in Buncombe County you may need to access. In September of 2022, Elizabeth succumbed to health challenges she courageously faced over many years. Before her death, Elizabeth learned that we would dedicate the

“WELL-BEING”

webpage to her beautiful spirit that inspired all who crossed her path to be well. Elizabeth understood the “butterfly effect”, and we are grateful for the servanthood of Elizabeth and Susan.

Thank you!

Welcome to our

"WELL-BEING"

Resource List

Resources are listed by category. Clicking on a category will help you get to the information you are seeking, taking you to organizations well known in our community for providing assistance. Our intent is to highlight the “umbrella” organizations in our community that will help you get to the information you are seeking. If you attempt to contact an agency and the contact information is inaccurate, we ask that you reach out to Pastor Lisa to help us keep the list updated. Contact: lrettew@centralumc.org
