Central United Methodist Church - NC is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday service!

Traditional-style worship services are held Sunday mornings in the main church sanctuary at 10:00 am. An outstanding, full music program includes the adult Chancel Choir, pipe organ and often performances by the children’s choirs, hand bell choir and brass orchestra. Thought-provoking, scripture-based sermons are provided by our ministers. Communion is typically served the first Sunday of every month.

Central UMC is located on historic Church Street in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina.  We pride ourselves on being a community for Christ in the center of the city.

We are fortunate to have 277 free surface parking spaces available to members and guests on Sunday mornings, so we do not have a shortage of free parking. Please see the updated map of available Sunday parking at the link below.
